Is $6.50 for about 100 pencils a high, low, or average price?

Anyone's help is appreciated; I'm not looking for an antique appraisal, I just want to know if it's worth it to buy and use.

Answers:

Vintage unused mechanical pencils? I'd say it's a good price and don't try for better unless you know more -- in detail -- about the pencils.
